I’m not usually so stupid all the time but it seems recently that I just can’t do anything right. Maybe I need a holiday or I need to change something inside me or something. Or maybe I should just stay inside for a few weeks and not do anything. Or maybe I should just pretend to be invisible again. Until I feel better.

Brain Fart 14: A Promise

The old and weary soul within me is stirring restlessly— cryptically whispering promises, underneath the moon and stars, that I refuse to decipher at one point in the past.
I have long-ago deciphered what it is and, just a few hours ago, I’ve decided that it’s already pointless to deny something that is essentially part of who I am.
That old and weary soul is already weary of fighting— weary of whispering against headstrong opposition…
And then, one day, she will smile amidst weariness and restlessness; knowingly recognizing signs that I’m finally beginning to come to— like she always does in previous lifetimes.
“Yes,” I say, finally, despite hesitations. “One day, perhaps.”
I will find you.
And she smiles further, knowing that it’s a start.
